    H.264/MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC (Advanced Video Coding) is a standard for video compression. Most commonly these codecs are used on Blu-ray video discs. Every Blu-ray player must have this H.264 decoding feature. Some of the windows and linux media players also have this decoding options like VLC media player.
